Privacy Policy

Overview

Bertie is a private AI assistant operated by Consultus for one authorized user. It is not offered as a public product. This policy explains how Bertie handles Google user data and related operational information.

This compliance site does not use JavaScript, cookies, trackers, external fonts, or external assets.

Google User Data

Bertie processes Google user data only to provide user-requested features. Depending on the request, Bertie may read, organize, draft, or send Gmail messages; view, create, update, invite, RSVP to, or delete Calendar events; and access Drive files opened through Bertie or created through Bertie.

OAuth tokens are encrypted on a private server. Operational logs may contain metadata needed to operate, secure, debug, or support the app, but they should not contain OAuth secrets.

AI and API Providers

Limited relevant content may be sent to configured AI or API providers solely to execute the authorized user's requests. Provider retention, training, and processing practices depend on the configured provider and applicable account settings or agreements.

Use Limits

Bertie does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, use it for unrelated profiling, or permit human access except where necessary for security, abuse prevention, maintenance, or support.

Bertie's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and Deletion

OAuth tokens are retained only while the Google integration is active. After revocation or disconnection, tokens are removed from the active encrypted token store and are not used after revocation. Any encrypted backup copies expire through normal backup rotation.

Google-derived content is processed for the requested actions. When necessary for the requested workflow, that content may also appear in Bertie's private conversation or workspace history until the authorized user or the operator deletes it.

Operational metadata and logs are retained only as needed for security, troubleshooting, and service operation, then deleted or rotated.

Deletion requests may be sent to privacy@consultus.co.il. Deletion requests cover reasonably accessible active copies. Legal holds or security incident needs may delay deletion.

User Control

The authorized user may revoke Bertie's Google access through Google account permissions. Bertie does not use OAuth tokens after revocation.
